'National Tree Day' forest bathing experience

  • Swans Road Crossing Picnic Area Orara East State Forest Australia (map)

National Tree Day is promoted as an opportunity to do something positive for your local environment and community and to reconnect with nature. This Guided walk uses mindfulness-based invitations to help you connect with the forest using all your senses, slow down, relieve stress and reconsider our relationships with ourselves, each other and the environment around us.  Come and celebrate our amazing trees and all they do to keep us healthy!  No swimsuits or towels required; we will be bathing among the aromas of the forest and the energy of the famous giant flooded gum.

Suitable for ages 14+ and people of all fitness levels.  Distance covered is less than 800 metres.  Some uneven ground will be experienced on this trail.
$40 adults; $20 Concession and Students.

Book early as limited spots available. For detailed information phone Lucy on 0417 927 657 or go to http://www.metaphoricallyspeaking.com.au/national-tree-day-forest-walk/
